I have designed a collection of silk bags and purses which are ideal for dressy or special occasions such as weddings or a trip to the theatre or ballet.  All of the items are individually handmade to order at my studio in Scotland, and I can personalise them further for you with an embroidered monogram, name or special date.

My 2010 collection is currently only available to buy online, at this site and at my new website, yourweddingpurse.co.uk , although I do occasionally exhibit pieces for sale in Gallery exhibitions.  For example, the ballet purses (pictured top left) from my current collection were selected for inclusion in the 'Gifted' exhibition of contemporary Scottish crafts at the National Museum of Scotland

2010 Collection for Wedding Guests                  This year, I have introduced a new Wedding Guests section into the Collection.  The wedding guests designs are in a choice of four fresh colourways, all featuring delicate embroidery on almond-coloured silk sections. There are two purse styles - Marianne and Rosalind - and one clutch bag, Juliette, priced from £40- to £55-, any of which can be personalised for a small extra charge. 2010 Collection Pictured here are three recent design additions to my 2010 collection:   The 'Juliet' wedding purse (left), in the Brides section of The Collection, is available in three colourways, and priced at £28-  It is made from stipple quilted silk dupion, and finished with a delicate floral embroidery on the front flap.                                     The 'Lily' handbag (right), in the Evening section of The Collection, is available in four different colourways, and is priced at £54-   Each has a quilted silk main body, and a flower trim with a Swarovski crystal centre. The 'Marie' purse (lower left), in the special occasions section of The Collection, is available in four different colourways, and is priced at £40- Each features a shaped front flap which is decorated with flower and leaf embroidery, and black side ribbons.
